Old Ridge Route Tours

We have just found out that there is going to be an attempt to restore the old ridge route after it was badly damaged by the heavy rains last year.

the National forest is going to take it over. A lot of work has to be done to clear and restore it for travel but at least there is hope it may be useable again in a year or so.

As you may recall we were going to make traveling the road as an club cruise event but the heavy rains stopped that idea.

Maybe in the  future we can concider a cruise over it , it would be very interesting and fun. The Ridge Route Preservation Organization work party led by Carl Masee  is organizing to start some clean up Feb 11 th. If annyone is interested in helping , please contact me for details.
